All rates are in NZ$ per calendar day and include unlimited km, GST (local tax), Standard insurance, nationwide road side service, free phone helpline, second driver fee, living equipment, Travel Wallet including road map and travel information
Depots: Auckland, Christchurch and Queenstown (Wellington on request)
Pick-ups and/or drop-offs in Wellington and Quennstown incur a NZ$ 200 fee.
The Breezer is not available to and from Wellington and Queenstown.
Minimum rental period:
Minimum rental period is 5 days.
Minimum rental period 10 days for hires between 23 December 2008 and 10 January 2009
Minimum rental period 10 days for hires between Auckland and Christchurch or Queenstown
from 09 October 2008 to 28 February 2009.
Minimum rental period is subject to change during peak periods.
One-way rentals
One-way rentals are available between all branch locations with the exception of the Breezer which is available to and from Christchurch and Auckland only. A one-way rental fee of NZ$150 is charged for Breezer, Nomad and Wanderer rentals or NZ$220 for Quattro and Six-Pack rentals, to and from the North Island to the South Island and vice versa, where pick up is between the 1st of November and the 31st of March. Location fees will apply if applicable.
Age restrictions and drivers licence: Drivers must be 21 years (Breezer 18 years) of age or over and a national drivers licence is to be presented at the time of rental. If the licence is not in English format, an international drivers licence is also required.

Bond/Excess/Insurance:
All vehicles are insured for the damage to the vehicle or to the property of a Third Party. The hirer is responsible for the first NZ$1,900 (“the excess”) for the Breezer if the driver is between the ages of 18 and 20 or NZ$1,000 (“the excess”) for the Breezer if the driver is 21+ years of age, NZ$1,500 (“the excess”) for Nomad and Wanderer campervans, NZ$3,500 (“the excess”) for Quattro and Six-Pack campervans and the first NZ$1,000 (“the excess”) for rental cars of the cost of damage to Third Party property or to the rented vehicle, including single vehicle accident, windscreen and tyre damage, towing and recovery costs, theft, fire, break-in or vandalism with the exception of the ‘exclusions’. This also includes the cost of the daily rental for the period the vehicle is off fleet for accident repairs.

With Excess Reduction Option 1 the hirer is responsible for the first NZ$500 (Breezer), NZ$750 for the Nomad and Wanderer and the first NZ$1800 for the Quattro and Six Pack vehicles of ANY ACCIDENT COST of damage to Third Party property or to the rented vehicle, including single vehicle accident, windscreen and tyre damage, towing and recovery costs, theft, fire, break in or vandalism with the exception of the ‘exclusions’. This also includes the cost of the daily rental rate for the period the vehicle is off fleet for accident repairs. The excess applies in respect of each claim, not rental.

Diesel tax recovery fee: The fee will be calculated and collected on return of your vehicle based on the kilometres travelled during your hire. Rates are subject to Government changes.
