- All rates are in NZ$ per day and include unlimited km, GST (local tax), insurance, road maps
- Depots: Auckland, Christchurch and Queenstown
- Minimum rental period:
Minimum rental period is 3 days.
Minimum rental period is subject to change during peak
periods.
- One - Way Rentals: An airport concession fee of NZ$ 30 will apply for all hires that pick up
at Queenstown airport.
- Bond/Excess:
All vehicles are insured for the damage to the vehicle or to the property of a Third Party. The hirer if greater than 21 years of age is responsible for the first NZ$1,000 (“the excess”) for rental
cars of the cost of damage to Third Party property or to the rented vehicle, including windscreen and tyre damage, towing and recovery costs, theft, fire, break-in or vandalism. In the event of a single vehicle accident and where the hirer is greater than 21 years of age the hirer is responsible for the first
NZ$2,500 (“the excess”) for rental cars of the cost of damage to Third Party property or to the rented vehicle.
The hirer if between 18-20 years of age is responsible for the first NZ$2,000 (“the excess”). In the event of a single vehicle accident and where the hirer is between 18-20 years of age the hirer is responsible for the first NZ$3,500 (“the excess”)
- Additional insurance options:
Excess Reduction Option 1:
21+ years old driver:
NZ$ 8 per day
to reduce the excess to NZ$ 250.
18+20 years old driver:
NZ$ 15 per day
to reduce the excess to NZ$ 1000.
In the event of a single vehicle accident and where the hirer is greater than 21 years of age the hirer is responsible for the first NZ$2,500 (“the excess”) for rental cars of the cost of damage to Third Party property or to the rented vehicle.
In the event of a single vehicle accident and where the hirer is between 18-20 years of age the hirer is responsible for the first NZ$3,500 (“the excess”).
Excess Reduction Option 2:
21+ years old driver:
NZ$ 14 per day
to reduce the excess to NZ$ nil.
18+20 years old driver:
NZ$ 20 per day
to reduce the excess to NZ$ 250.
- Age restrictions and drivers licence:
Drivers must be 18 years of age or over and a national drivers licence is
to be presented at the time of rental. If the licence is not in English
format, an international drivers licence is also required.
- 24 hours nationwide road side service
- Extras:
child/booster seat: NZ$ 25 per rental
Tent (4 persons): NZ$ 65 per rental
Camping equipment: NZ$ 20 per day (max. fee: NZ$ 200 for 2 persons)
GPS System: NZ$ 9 per day - maximum of NZ$ 90 per rental
*Note: There is no hire fee for a mobile phone - you only have to pay for
your calls
- Cars and car groups are subject to availability and may vary by
location. Bookings can only be accepted by car group, not specific make,
model or colour. Baby/Booster seats can be fitted in all Rental Cars
