All rates are in NZ$ per calendar day and include unlimited km, GST (local tax), Standard insurance, nationwide road side service, free phone helpline, cleaning fee, second driver fee, living equipment, extensive information pack and discount vouchers, full water tank and gas bottle
The all inclusive rates (shown in brackets) are cover the Standard Rates inclusions plus the following EXTRAS: full cover insurance (NIL excess), multiple replacements and repairs of windscreens and tyres, camping table and chairs, baby or booster seat(s).
Depots: Auckland and Christchurch
Minimum rental period: 5 days. Minimum rental is extended to 10 days for the travel period from 20 December 08 to 05 January 09.
One way fee: A one-way rental fee of NZ$ 275 is charged for rentals between the North and South Island (and vice versa), where pick-up is between 01 October 2008 and 31 March 2009.
Age restrictions and drivers licence: Drivers must be 21 years of age or over and a national drivers licence is to be presented at the time of rental. If the licence is not in English format, an international drivers licence is also required.
24 hours nationwide road side service
Bond/Excess: NZ$ 5000, which can be paid by cash, Traveller's Cheques or credit cards upon pick up. Should the bond be paid by credit card, KEA Campers will debit the amount from your card immediately.
Additional insurance options:
CDW-Option 1: NZ$ 25 per day to reduce the excess to NZ$ 2000
CDW-Option 2: NZ$ 35 per day to reduce the excess to NZ$ 0 - a security bond of NZ$ 250 has still to be paid for but will be refunded at the end of your hire
Additional equipment:
picnic table: NZ$ 30 per rental
picnic chair: NZ$ 20 per rental
Sun umbrella: NZ$ 20 per rental
Child/booster seat: NZ$ 50 per rental
GPS Navigation system: NZ$ 5 per day (min NZ$ 75 and max NZ$ 250)
