- All rates are in NZ$ per day and include unlimited km, GST (local
tax), insurance
- First driver is free, additional drivers are NZ$1.00 each per day.
- Depots: Auckland, Christchurch and Queenstown
- Minimum rental period: 4 days; hire days base on 24 hours
- One - Way Rentals: No additional one-way fees apply.
- Bond/Excess/Insurance:
All vehicles are insured for the damage to the vehicle or
to the property of a Third Party.
Insurance Options for drivers under 21's years:
Insurance excess NZ$ 2000 (NZ$ 3500 for single vehicle accidents)
Insurance Options for drivers over 21's years:
Insurance excess NZ$ 1200 (NZ$ 2500 for single vehicle accidents)
The hire is responsible with the the excess of the cost of damage to Third Party property or the
rented vehicle. This option does not cover windscreen and tyre damage
A bond is required for all hires.
You will be asked to sign a separate security bond in the
form of a credit card imprint. This bond is held by
Jucy cars and is not
banked; it is our guarantee that the vehicle will be returned on time
and in the condition that it was hired in. Jucy Rentals no longer accepts
a cash bond as a form of deposit.
All clients must have a credit card to
hire a vehicle.

CDW 1 (chance it): Insurance excess NZ$ 1000 (NZ$ 3500 for single vehicle accidents),
Pay an additional NZ$ 15 per day
CDW 2 (stress free): Insurance excess NZ$ nil (NZ$ nil for single vehicle accidents),
Pay an additional NZ$ 24 per day
Insurance Options for drivers over 21's years
CDW 1 (chance it): Insurance excess NZ$ 250 (NZ$ 2500 for single vehicle accidents),
Pay an additional NZ$ 10 per day
CDW 2 (stress free): Insurance excess NZ$ nil (NZ$ nil for single vehicle accidents),
Pay an additional NZ$ 17 per day
(Note: Basic & CDW 1 do not cover window and tyre damage; CDW 2
covers all damage including windows and tyres)

Windscreen Waiver: Pay an additional NZ$ 4 per day
- Age restrictions and drivers licence:
Drivers must be 18 years of age or over and a national drivers licence
is to be presented at the time of rental. If the licence is not in
English format, an international drivers licence is also required.
- 24 hours nationwide road side service
- Extras:
Toddler seats and Baby capsules: NZ$ 40 per rental
Baby Booster
seats: NZ$ 35 per rental
Snow chains: NZ$ 25 per rental
- Cars and car groups are subject to availability and may vary by
location. Bookings can only be accepted by car group, not specific make,
model or colour. Baby/Booster seats can be fitted in all Rental Cars
