MINIMUM HIRE PERIOD:
1 day where pick up and return is same city. Minimum rental period is 3 days between cities except for one-way hires that are southbound the minimum rental requirement is seven days. Minimum rental periods are subject to change during peak periods.

QUEENSTOWN LOCATION FEES:
A Queenstown location fee of NZ$ 30.00 will apply for hires with pick-up at Queenstown locations. This fee is subject to change and new location charges may arise as required.

VEHICLE LIABILITY:
All vehicles are insured for the damage to the vehicle or to the property of a Third Party. The hirer is responsible for the first NZ$ 1,800 ("the liability") of the cost of damage to Third Party property or to the rented vehicle, including single vehicle accident (does not include Single Vehicle Rollover), windscreen and tyre damage, towing and recovery costs, theft, fire, break-in or vandalism with the exception of the 'exclusions'. This also includes the cost of the daily rental for the period the vehicle is off fleet for accident repairs.

LIABILITY REDUCTION OPTION:
NZ$ 20 per day to reduce the Liability to NZ$ 0
When liability reduction is nominated by the hirer, the hirer will not have to pay any liability at all for any damage to the vehicle or property of a third party with the exception of the 'exclusions'.

ADDITIONAL PROTECTION COVERAGE:
NZ$ 89 per rental
Where the hirer purchases Additional Protection Coverage the cost of damage resulting from a Single Vehicle Rollover will be covered. Additional Protection Coverage can only be purchased in conjunction with Liability Reduction Option.

EXTRA DRIVER FEE: None

AGE RESTRICTIONS:
21 years of age or over. A current and full motor vehicle driver's licence is required and must be produced upon vehicle collection. Should a foreign licence be in a language other then English it must be accompanied by a current international driving permit issued in the same country as the driver's licence was issued. An accredited English translation will be accepted in lieu of an international driving permit.

CREDIT CARD FEE:
The following credit cards will be accepted: Visa, Mastercard & Amex. A credit card administration fee of 2% applies to use of Visa and Mastercard and 4% applies to use of Amex for payment and security bond purposes. The credit card administration fee will not be refunded if the hirer cancels the booking. The hirer must have a credit card. Any type of pre-paid travel card is not acceptable as a means to provide a vehicle security deposit. Visa and MasterCard debit cards are acceptable provided the card is being used as a credit card.
