MINIMUM HIRE PERIOD:
For rentals, travelling between cities the minimum rental duration is 3 days. For hires, travelling from the North Island to the South Island the minimum requirement is 7 days. Minimum rental periods are subject to change during peak periods.

ONE WAY FEE: None

EXTRA DRIVER FEE: None

EXCESS:
NZ$1,000 (21+ year old drivers) or the first NZ$ 2,000 (18-20 year old drivers) - payable by hirer's own credit card upon pick up of the rental car. If a single Vehicle accident occurs the Customer is responsible for the first NZ$2,500 (21+ year old drivers) or the first NZ$3,500 (18-20 year old drivers) of the cost of damage.

ADDITIONAL INSURANCE OPTIONS:
Hirer 21+ years old:
Excess Reduction Option 1: NZ$ 9 per day to reduce the excess to NZ$ 250
If single Vehicle accident occurs the Customer is responsible for the first NZ$2,500 of the cost of damage
Excess Reduction Option 2: NZ$ 15 per day to reduce the excess to NZ$ 0 (security deposit of NZ$ 250 is still required)

Hirer 18-20 years old:
Excess Reduction Option 1: NZ$ 16 per day to reduce the excess to NZ$ 1,000
If a single Vehicle accident occurs the Customer is responsible for the first NZ$3,500 of the cost of damage
Excess Reduction Option 2: NZ$ 21 per day to reduce the excess to NZ$ 250

MINIMUM DRIVER AGE:
18 years. A current and full motor vehicle driver's licence is required and must be produced upon vehicle collection. Should a foreign licence be in a language other than English it must be accompanied by a current international driving permit issued in the same country as the driver's licence was issued. An accredited English translation will be accepted in lieu of an international driving permit.

CREDIT CARD FEE:
Accepted credit cards are Visa Card and MasterCard. A non-refundable 2% administration fee will apply to all Visa and MasterCard transactions. Credit card administration fees also apply to debited vehicle security deposits and only the hirer's credit card is acceptable to use for the purpose of the vehicle securitydeposit.
